Here is a picture of us, post meal, standing in the gardens of Tavern on the Green......
I would have been the happiest girl in the world had the evening ended at that point, but Gregg had other plans in mind. He took my hand, led me out of the gardens, and led me to a horse-drawn carriage he had waiting to pick us up outside of the restaurant.
The driver of the carriage took us around Central Park, telling us of its history and describing many of its most popular spots....
One such spot described to us by our "driver" was a beautiful little spot called Cherry Hill. He suggested that Gregg and I hop out to take a closer look at the lake. Gregg seemed to think this was a great idea, so I held his hand as he helped me out of the carriage and guided me over to the edge of the lake. I vaguely remember being incredibly uncooperative as he tried to get me to say romantic things about our love and this perfect little spot. He asked me what I saw in the future and I said something about visiting the Museum of Natural History. Not exactly what he was looking for, but he still managed to pull off a lovely little speech about spending the rest of our lives together.
Next thing I knew he was down on one knee and I was squealing "yes! yes!" We took a couple of pictures, because I have to document every single moment in my life. Here is the way we looked immediately after he popped the question....
That evening truly was the beginning to a fairy tale and saying "yes" to my Prince Charming was the best decision I ever made. I have truly enjoyed the past three years as husband and wife and look forward to many more. I love you, honey!
After writing this post, I had a lot of fun looking through old pictures. I just had to share some of the old pictures I found of our early days together.......

I cant believe you guys have known each other since 1942.
